Is TNZ really free?
Yes. Identifying songs is free and unlimited, with the full story, credits, artist, press, previews, charts and Song Map. No account, no ads. TNZ Pro adds Link Studio, Keep identifying, Memories, unlimited synced history and app icons.
How does TNZ verify facts?
TNZ matches every fact to the exact recording using its identifiers across trusted music catalogs before showing it. If two sources disagree or a fact can’t be confirmed, TNZ leaves it out rather than guess.
Can it identify music playing on my phone?
Yes. Start TNZ, switch to the app that’s playing, and the music keeps going. TNZ lets you know what it found with a notification. You can turn this off in Settings.
Do I need Apple Music?
No. Everything works without it. If you subscribe to Apple Music, you can connect it in Settings to play full songs instead of 30-second previews and add songs to your library.
What is Link Studio?
TNZ Pro’s smart link maker. It turns any song into one page with every streaming platform, at your own address, styled your way, with a share card and a QR code.
Which devices does TNZ work on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. Some features, like on-device song stories, need a device that supports Apple’s on-device intelligence.

How do I cancel a subscription?
